hapiNES L is a four-track chiptune instrument built for live composition, with authentic NES-inspired tone, fast pattern building, hardware MIDI, and analog sync in a rugged metal enclosure.

NES spirit, performance workflow

Inspired by the RP2A07 sound chip, hapiNES L delivers the pulse, triangle, noise, and drum behavior that made classic console music so distinctive. But it is not just for reenactment. The layout is designed so you can sketch, improvise, and reshape patterns in real time.

Each track can take its own role inside the pattern, from bass and melody to drums and motion lines, making the machine feel closer to a compact workstation than a novelty synth.

Built for sync and live use

The large version adds hardware MIDI and analog sync I/O, making it easier to drop hapiNES L into a modern setup while keeping its unapologetically game-born voice intact.
